JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 07-01-2025 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Saharsa, to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license on 30.6.2021.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the Respondent-State submits that in case, the petitioner has filed an application for grant of arms license and the same is still pending, it shall be disposed off, within a fixed time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate,
Patna High Court CWJC No.19303 of 2024(2) dt.07-01-2025 2/2 Saharsa, to consider the application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
