Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with I.F. Case No. 17 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 27, 29, 31 of the W.L.P. Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the petitioner has been made accused on the basis of confessional statement of the co-accused. Nothing has been recovered from his conscious possession of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner deserves the privilege of anticipatory bail.
