The petitioner seeks bail in Sabour (Goradih) P.S. Case No.37 of 2019, registered under Section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the informant with iron rod on the head and arm.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is own brother of the husband of the informant. There is a bona fide land dispute between the two sides. The doctor found one grievous injury on the hand of the informant on account of fracture of bone and for that the petitioner has remained in jail since 18.06.2019. The petitioner has already remained in jail for about six months.
