Petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A/34 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and under sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioners are in-laws of opposite party no.2 and thrust of accusation is against her husband who has been granted bail. No specific allegation has been attributed against them.
