Pursuant to the earlier order dated 16.02.2024, the S.H.O. Gaurichak, Patna has appeared along with the records of the case.

This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in connection with Gaurichak P.S. Case No.181 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 376, 356, 379, 384, 385, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, under Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act and under Section 67(A) of the I.T. Act.

Earlier, the bail application of the petitioner has been rejected vide order dated 21.07.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No.38972 of 2023.

It is alleged that the petitioner has committed rape upon the informant on multiple occasions by threatening to make video/photo viral. This has continued even after the informant got married.

I see no reason to review my earlier order dated 21.07.2023. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months from today. The S.H.O. Gauricha, District- Patna is also directed to produce the witnesses in the trial so that the trial may be concluded within stipulated time. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
