The present writ application has been filed for quashing the notification contained in letter no.631-F.O dated 28.04.2017, issued by the Jai Prakash University, Chapra by which on reconsideration of the statutory pay-fixation committee in its meeting dated 27.04.2017, the Vice Chancellor has been pleased to approve the pay fixation of non-teaching staff of the Univer-

Patna High Court CWJC No.1549 of 2023(3) dt.11-02-2025 2/3 sity and its constituent units and deficit grant colleges and by this fixation the petitioners' rank from demonstrator has been reverted to the post of Laboratory in-charge and the pay scale was also fixed on lower scale. And also for directing the respondents to revise the pay in the pay scale of Rs.8000-13,500/- to the petitioner and its replacement scale in Rs.15600-39100/- from 01.01.1996 till the date of superannuation i.e. 30.09.2014 and pay the difference of arrears of salary with interest. 3.

Considering the reliefs sought by the petitioner, petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation along with a copy of this order and other supporting documents, before the respondent no.4 within a period of four weeks and the respondent no.4 is well advised to consider the case of the petitioner and dispose of the representation of the petitioner after affording an opportunity of personal hearing or through his counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law and in view of the order passed by the Apex Court and this Court, within four weeks from the date of filing of such representation by the petitioner. 4.

It is made clear that respondent no.4 shall be personally held responsible for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.
