The petitioner is in custody in connection with Singheshwar P.S. Case No. 200 of 2014 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 505 and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 27.08.2019 after remand in this case. He further submits that except his criminal antecedent, there is no materials in the instant case to connect the petitioner with the commission of the crime.

In this case, case diary was called for.

After going through the case diary, learned counsel for the State submits that the witnesses have not supported the prosecution case against the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70842 of 2019(3) dt.06-02-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in connection with Singheshwar P.S. Case No. 200 of 2014.
