2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kankarbagh PS Case No.691 of 2025 dated 28.07.2025, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118, 351(2), 352, 74, 109, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that on the alleged date of occurrence the petitioner and one Toni @ Subodh came to the house of the informant and started fighting with her. The petitioner had a knife in his hand from which he attacked on the informant upon which she tried to stop leading to cut injury in hand. Subodh Kumar hit her with a lathi on her waist, head.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.79228 of 2025(2) dt.19-11-2025 2/2 brother of the petitioner, namely, Subodh Kumar Sinha @ Toni, has lodged a case against the informant and her husband on 26.11.2024 under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 351(2), 352, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and the present case has been lodged on 28.07.2025. Petitioner has been made accused only because he is the brother of Subodh Kumar Sinha @ Toni. Further submission is that allegation against the petitioner is that he inflicted knife blow on the informant due to which she sustained injury in his hand. Further submission is that the doctor has opined the injury as simple in nature. Both the parties are neighbours. Petitioner is in custody since 02.08.2025 having clean antecedents.
5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ACJM-XI, Patna, in Kankarbagh PS Case No.691 of 2025.
7. The application stands allowed.
