The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No.227 of 2019 registered under Sections 341, 323, 354, 354(A), 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is that while Sabrina Khatoon, the daughter of the informant, was returning to her house, in the way, this petitioner intercepted her and made proposal to perform marriage with her. When the daughter of the informant made protest, then the petitioner started to cause assault her through fists and torn her frock. Thereafter, the daughter of the informant raised alarm on which the informant and her another daughter, namely, Rubi Khatoon, reached there in her rescue,

No.69853 of 2019(2) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 then Sharukh and Sultana Khatoon came there and caused assault to the informant and her both daughters through legs and fists and this petitioner started giving threatening to the informant of dire consequences, if she would not perform the marriage of her daughter with him.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the cousin of the victim girl and next door neighbour of the informant. Due to family dispute, the present case has been lodged by the informant. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 26.07.2019.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Pramod Ranjan, Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No.227 of 2019.
