2. The present application has been filed:

for initiation of contempt proceedings against the contemnor/ opposite parties for willful disobedience and violation of order dated 25.04.2024 passed in CWJC No. 1259 of 2024 by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajiv Roy by which the opposite party no. 04 was directed to take necessary steps on the application of the petitioner dated 20.06.2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of a copy of the order is provided to the Office and along with his comment and forward the petition which must reach the table of the Deputy Collector, Land Reforms, Gaya (respondent no. 3) within the aforesaid eight weeks and who shall take necessary steps and

Patna High Court MJC No.3958 of 2024(28) dt.22-08-2025 2/2 dispose of the case of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date such report with the comments/recommendation of the Circle Officer, Town Block, Gaya in received in his office.

3. Pursuant to the last order, the supplementary showcause has come on behalf of the opposite party nos. 3 and 4 according to which, the amount has been transferred to the account of the petitioner and she has received it.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the contempt petition now stands disposed of, the lady is still fighting the Appeal No. 08 of 2025-26 before the Additional Collector, Gaya and despite the request made by this Court, the same stands pending.

5. Learned State counsel submits that the appeal shall be disposed of at an earliest.

6. This Court can only expect that good sense prevail upon the Additional Collector, Gaya and he shall see to it and the matter is taken to its logical conclusion at an earliest.

7. The present petition stands disposed of.
