====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 12-01-2022 Heard Mr. Dinu Kumar, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Ramnath Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 433(c) of 2018 in which cognizance has been taken under Sections 420, 406, 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre for an effective resolution between the parties. However because of Pandemic, the mediation could not take place. However, with the effort of the parties themselves, an out of court settlement

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.75471 of 2019(5) dt.12-01-2022 2/2 was arrived at and the offer made by the petitioner was accepted by the opposite party no.2.

The afore-noted statement made on behalf of the petitioner has been supported by an affidavit. Mr. Ramnath Kumar, learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 has ratified such statement after taking instruction from the opposite party no.2.

Considering the afore-noted facts, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner by order dated 26.11.2019 stands confirmed.

The petitioner shall remain on the same bail bonds. The petition stands allowed and disposed of accordingly.
