2. The petitioners are in custody since 13.07.2023 in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No. 203/2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the deceased is alleged to have been killed for demand of dowry and torture. The petitioners are maternal grandfather of the husband of the deceased and the Dewar of the deceased.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. He submits that the petitioners have never demanded dowry and the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83770 of 2023(2) dt.10-01-2024 2/2 marriage was solemnized seven years ago from the date of occurrence. The petitioners have no criminal antecedents.
5. Considering the period of custody and the relationship of the petitioners, let the petitioners above named be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gaya in connection with Tekari P.S.
