1. Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Manikpur Police Station Case No. 56 of 2025, dated 04.07.2025, disclosing offences punishable under Sections 126 (2)/115(2)/118(1)/109/352/351(2) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, as per the First Information Report, is that on 03.07.2025, at about 4 PM, when the informant was at his home, the petitioner, along with co-accused Vijay Yadav, came there and started abusing him. When the informant objected, they assaulted the informant by

When the wife of the informant came in her rescue, the accused persons, including the petitioner assaulted her on her head by iron rod and khanti, due to which she sustained head injury and also sustained injuries on her body.
4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case by the informant to settle score. He further submits that there is case and counter case between the parties inasmuch as the wife of the petitioner has lodged Manikpur Police Station Case No. 57 of 2025 against the informant and others.
5. On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutor vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the wife of the informant has sustained five injuries, including three injuries on her head and out of five injuries, two injuries are grievous in nature.
6. Regards being had to the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the seriousness of the offence and the fact that the wife of the informant has sustained grievous injuries, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory
