2. Delay of 5 days in filing the writ petition is condoned.

3. Having regard to the fact that the petitioners are having alternative and effective remedy, the present writ application is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to

Patna High Court CWJC No.19960 of 2025 dt.10-12-2025 2/2 approach the Arbitrator appointed by the Central Government under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 within a period of four weeks from today by filing an appropriate application. On such application being filed, the Arbitrator shall consider the same and pass necessary orders duly putting all the interested parties on notice. The Arbitrator shall grant opportunity of hearing to both the petitioners as well as the interested parties and pass a reasoned order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties. The Arbitrator shall endeavour to dispose of the said application as expeditiously as possible as per the provisions of the Act.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
