The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sandesh P.S. Case No. 20 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 498A, 342, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons including the petitioner herein having tortured the informant on account of non-fulfillment of the illegal demand for dowry. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is father-in-law of the informant victim lady and the fact is that the husband of the informant i.e. the son of the informant has already been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 27.08.2019 passed in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72233 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 Criminal Misc. No. 53779 of 2019. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and there is no material on record to suggest his complicity in the matter. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 22.08.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Sandesh P.S. Case No. 20 of 2019.
