Mr.Anil Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 19-02-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with N.C.B. Case No. 24 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 15, 25, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act. Earlier the bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 14.12.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 60564 of 2018. The recovery of 43 Kg. of Doda Posta from the petitioner. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is in custody since 04.05.2018 and sufficiently being punished.

Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the Union of India have opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74055 of 2019(3) dt.19-02-2020 2/2 Perused the report also it appears that out of six charge-sheeted witnesses four have already been examined and case is running on day to day basis.

Considering the above facts, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, learned trial court is directed to expedite the matter and conclude the matter within a period of six months.
