1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 324, 379, 307, 302 and 120(b) of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent. It is next submitted that co-accused Harendra Ray (father of the petitioner) had approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No.21199 of 2023 and the same was allowed by an order dated 27.06.2023. It is next submitted that the case of the petitioner if not akin is similar to that of Harendra Ray. It is also submitted that will not abscond rather will cooperate in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.81445 of 2024(2) dt.14-02-2025 2/2 the investigation to prove his innocence. It is next submitted that there is no specific allegation of assault against the petitioner.

4. Learned A.P.P. Sri Chandra Bhushan Prasad opposes the anticipatory bail application.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Saran at Chapra in connection with Awtarnagar P. S. Case No.112 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

6. The application stands allowed.
