2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 325, 506, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per prosecution case, on 12.05.2019, while the informant was working in his agricultural land along with his cousin brother, namely Dasai Singh, this petitioner and his elder sister-in-law, along with three other co-accused persons, came there and caught hold of the informant and took him to the road and tied his hands and legs and assaulted him by means of iron rod and broke his hand and leg. It is further alleged that on halla, this petitioner fired five rounds of bullet from his country made pistol, which hit one Ramjee Thakur and he fell
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.82479 of 2023(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 unconscious. It is also alleged that the doctor has found grievous injuries on Ramjee Thakur.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. There is enmity between the parties.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail. He submits that the petitioner has also got criminal antecedents.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, nature of accusation and injuries, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
