2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 354D, 376, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66C, 66D, 66E, 67 of the I.T. Act.
3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant developed friendship with the petitioner on Facebook. After this, they started calling and video calling each other. She was called by the petitioner and when the informant went to met him, he established relationship and also made video of the same. He
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80822 of 2024(4) dt.04-02-2025 2/3 started compelling the informant to establish physical relationship with his friends, failing which, he will made the video viral. It is also alleged that on 09.04.2024, the petitioner attempted to kill the informant. It is further alleged that the petitioner threatens the informant of dire consequences.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. It is also submitted that the occurrence is of 04.02.2020, whereas the case has been filed on 06.04.2024 i.e., after four years of the occurrence. It is next submitted that the informant and petitioner are husband and wife and in support of his submissions has also filed a certificate which bears the signature of the petitioner and the informant. It is next submitted that the informant does not admit the marriage. It is also submitted that the signature of the informant on the said certificate is forged one. In any view of the matter, the delay in filing the FIR is not explained. It is further submitted that the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 07.05.2024.
5. Learned APP appearing for the state and learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer of regular bail and submitted that the petitioner is having criminal

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No. 20 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur.
