Movement, 1974 and is thus entitled for pension since the starting of the scheme i.e. 12th June, 2009, as the petitioner served Jail custody from 5.10.1974 to 22.7.1977 at Samastipur Mandal Jail, Chandwara Camp Jail Hazaribag and lastly at Darbhanga Jail under MISA and DIR.

The petitioner further prays for grant of benefit i.e. month to month financial assistance, as given to other J.P. Senani since June, 2009 till date."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondent No. 4 i.e. the Secretary, Department of Home(Special Branch) Govt. of Bihar, Old Secretariat, Patna, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case the petitioner files appropriate representation before the respondent no. 4, i.e. the Secretary, Department of Home (Special Branch),Government of Bihar, Patna, within a period of four weeks from

Patna High Court CWJC No.520 of 2024(6) dt.21-10-2024 3/3 today, the same shall be considered by the respondent no. 4, in accordance with law and disposed off by a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
