The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise Case No. 1118 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of 126 liters of illicit liquor from a car in which the petitioner was sitting along with the other accused persons and thereafter they were arrested by the police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and the car as well as the illicit liquor recovered by the police do not belong to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76672 of 2019(3) dt.09-12-2019 2/2 and is languishing in custody since 19.09.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-VII cum Special Judge, Aurangabad in connection with Excise Case No. 1118 of 2019.
