2. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw this application in respect of petitioner no.1, submitting that during pendency of this application petitioner no.1 has been apprehended by the police.

3. Permission is granted.

4. Accordingly, this application is dismissed as withdrawn in respect of petitioner no.1 only.

5. Now, this application survives only for petitioner no.2.

6. The petitioner no.2 apprehends her arrest in a case

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.83372 of 2024(2) dt.09-12-2024 2/3 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 504, 313 & 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

7. The petitioner along with other co-accused is said to have subjected the informant to assault and atrocity for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

8. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. She has been falsely implicated in this case. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not specific rather general and omnibus in nature. Petitioner is the mother-in-law of the informant and she is residing separately with the husband of the informant. She has no concern with their day to day affair. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para-3 of this application.

9. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail.

10. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with

No.83372 of 2024(2) dt.09-12-2024 3/3 two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S.
