JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-06-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Supaul Mahila P.S. Case No.23 of 2018 disclosing offences under Sections 498A, 323, 504, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Allegation against the petitioner is for demand of Rs.1,00,000/- and a motorcycle, due to non-fulfillment, she was tortured physically and mentally and also assaulted due to which, she has received injury and she was admitted in Indira Gandhi Insitute, Sheikhpura, Patna and she is still walking on 'Vaishakhi'.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he is still ready to keep her with dignity and care and he will not assault her in future.

Heard learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel for the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74328 of 2018(3) dt.27-06-2019 2/2 opposite party no.2 also, who has opposed the prayer for bail. Having heard both sides, in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. However, despite the fact that by considering the prayer for regular bail, if the court concerned will see that there is a chance of amicable settlement between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, this application is disposed of.
