This criminal writ application has been filed for the following reliefs :- "i. For issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS directing and commanding the respondents to lodge F.I.R. and make a proper inquiry/investigation especially by respondent no.6 & 7 against the accused persons who have wrongfully/illegally abducted petitioner and compelled him to transfer

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.2543 of 2024(3) dt.08-05-2025 2/2 Rs.30,10,000/- in Account of Amlendu Civil Construction, bearing A/C No.41491350346 SBI Branch, West Bengal.

ii. For issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS directing and commanding the respondent police officers for immediate arrest of accused persons and conspirators of this crime wherein the petitioner was abducted and forced to pay ransom amount of Rs.30,10,000/- iii. For issuance of a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS directing and commanding the respondent police officers to take appropriate action against the investigating officer for helping accused persons and not arresting them."

Pursuant to earlier order of this Court, the Station House Officer of Digha Police Station has appeared in Court and he has agreed to register 'zero' F.I.R. in the case and transfer the same to the appropriate jurisdiction. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, this criminal writ application is disposed of.
