The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khagaria (Gangour) P.S. Case No. 657 of 2019, registered under Sections 147, 148, 341, 323, 506 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that seven persons named in the F.I.R., including the petitioner, having lathi, Farsa etc. in their hands came to the informant Ranvir Singh and started abusing and asked whey he is threatening his witness, at that time, Rampukar Singh and Bittu Singh @ Kari Singh assaulted on his head and Tanuj Kumar Singh (Petitioner) and Ramashish Singh assaulted on his right palm and body through rod. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that occurrence of Marpit took place due to land dispute in which petitioner's side also sustained injury regarding which Khagaria (Gangour) P.S. Case No. 658 of 2019 was instituted against the informant and others by the petitioner. Further submission is that petitioner is in custody since 30.08.2019. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing on behalf of informant submits that only one sharp cutting injury was found on the head of informant, which is grievous in nature.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria in connection with Khagaria (Gangour) P.S.
