Mr. Rajesh Kumar ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 18-05-2018 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chiraiya P.S.Case No. 228 of 2017 registered under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian penal Code. Allegation in brief is that petitioner along with other family members killed his wife as demand of dowry was not fulfilled.

Submission is that petitioner's wife quarreled with her mother-in-law and thereafter committed suicide. Whereas allegation is that petitioner's wife died in an unnatural circumstances and there was demand of further dowry and petitioner is husband, so considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17556 of 2018(4) dt.18-05-2018 2/2 Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within nine months. If trial does not conclude within the stipulated period, petitioner may renew his prayer of bail.
