2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 20-04-2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.8433 of 2023.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail on 20-04-2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8433 of 2023 with a direction to surrender before the Court below within twelve weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 4th Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Exlusive Special
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.84156 of 2023(2) dt.04-03-2024 2/2 Excise Court No. 2, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 68 of 2021 due to communication gap with the learned council, the petitioner could not surrender and execute the bail bonds before the Court below within the stipulated time.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bonds of the petitioner.
5. In view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner, as ordered on 20.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8433 of 2023 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 20.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8433 of 2023 is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) jyoti/- U T
