JUSTICE NANI TAGIA ORAL ORDER 26-06-2025 This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 23.04.2019 passed in CWJC No. 8817 of 2019, wherein, the District Magistrate, Buxar was directed to take an appropriate decision in matter of grant of arms license to the petitioner.

2. Opposite party No. 2 has filed a show cause, wherein, in paragraph No. 6 thereof, it has been stated that on consideration of the petitioner's application for grant of arms license in accordance with the Arms Act, 1959 and Arms Rules, 2016, his application was rejected by an order dated 17.08.2023 passed by the District Magistrate, Buxar. A copy of the aforesaid order of rejection has been annexed as Annexure - A to the

Patna High Court MJC No.4511 of 2019(3) dt.26-06-2025 2/2 show cause.

3. On perusal of the show cause filed by the opposite party No. 2 I find that the order dated 23.04.2019 passed in CWJC No. 8817 of 2019 has been duly complied with by the respondents.

4. In view of the above, this contempt application stands closed and disposed off.
