JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 03/ 20-06-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner has renewed the prayer for bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is alleged that for a dispute with regard to taking money for buying liquor, the petitioner took the daughter of the informant, who happens to be wife of the petitioner, near the embankment of the river and strangulated her. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the medical opinion does not suggest that the victim died due to strangulation. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 21.11.2014.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9485 of 2018 (3) dt.20-06-2018 Considering the fact that for consuming liquor the petitioner strangulated his wife and the report of S.P., Saran dated 30.05.2018 reflects that all the witnesses have already been examined, this Court is not inclined to revise the earlier order. However, it is expected from learned 8th Additional Sessions Judge, Saran at Chapra to conclude Sessions Trial No. 335 of 2015 arising out of Baniapur P.S. Case No. 227 of 2014 within a period of four months.
