JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 25-04-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 9.8.2017 passed in Cr.Misc.No.34022 of 2017 on merit.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except suspicion there is nothing against the petitioner and he is in custody for about one year.
Heard learned APP and from perusal of the report it appears that learned trial court has sought four months time to conclude the trial.
In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a further period of four months
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18012 of 2018 (4) dt.25-04-2018 2/2 from the receipt of this order. At the same time, Superintendent of Police, Khagaria is directed to ensure the presence of the witnesses in court on the date fixed so that the trial may be concluded within the said period.
