The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid application is still pending consideration, the same shall definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame, as is fixed by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,
Patna High Court CWJC No.17481 of 2024(2) dt.20-11-2024 2/2 I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms licence, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending consideration, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 4.
The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
