====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 04-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the State and the informant.
Petitioner is an accused in a case registered for offence under sections 304B/34 of the IPC.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that informant is the brother of the deceased and the petitioner, being her husband, sustained burn injuries while trying to save her. Learned counsel for the informant submits that the nature of injuries sustained by the petitioner indicates that he received injuries while the victim caught him to save herself. He further submits that the death has occurred within three years of marriage.
The petitioner being husband of the victim has the prime responsibility to keep her with safety.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17937 of 2018 (3) dt.04-05-2018 Considering the gravity of the allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner for the present. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
