The petitioner is in custody since 28.07.2019 in connection with Agiawan Bazar P.S. Case No. 29 of 2019 for the offence registered under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation of demand of dowry is not against the present petitioner and she is merely an old lady, who has been falsely implicated in connection with the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a mother-in-law and she is living separately from her son. It is further submitted that the petitioner has nothing to do with the aforesaid offence, as alleged by the informant.

Case No. 29 of 2019.
