The petitioners, who are the mother-in-law and unmarried sister-in-law of the deceased, seek bail in connection with Jalley P.S. Case No. 89 of 2019, dated 24.06.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioners are said to be in custody since 25.06.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.72526 of 2019(4) dt.05-03-2020 2/2 The First Information Report has been lodged by the sister of the deceased after about two days of the occurrence.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have been staying separately from the husband of the deceased and merely because of the relationship between the parties, they have been made accused in this case.

Regard being had to the gender of the petitioners, the surrounding circumstances and the period of custody, the petitioners above-named are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate-Ist, Darbhanga in connection with Jalley P.S. Case No. 89 of 2019.

The application stands allowed.
