The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the State Level Committee for Wood-Based Industries to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.08.2025 (Annexure-P-4) filed by the petitioners to grant approval to the Licensing Officer for transfer of license on the basis of Sale in favour of the petitioner in terms of Section 11(1) of the Bihar Wood-Based Industries (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2025.
(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities not to interfere with the operation of saw mill till
Patna High Court CWJC No.19001 of 2025(4) dt.15-07-2026 2/3 such time the matter is finally decided by the State Level Committee for Wood-Based Industries, Bihar, Patna in the facts and circumstances of the case. (iii) For issuance of other writ (s), order(s), direction(s) as your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
3. Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the counsels.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners have given a representation/ complaint dated 29.08.2025 (Annexure-P/4) to the respondent No. 02 herein who is the competent authority and it would suffice if a direction is given to the said authority to consider the said representation and pass necessary orders by fixing a time-frame.
5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State submits that there is no endorsement on the representation given by the petitioners. That the petitioners may be directed to give a fresh representation to the representation No. 02 herein and the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law.
6. Having regard to the above made submissions, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the
Patna High Court CWJC No.19001 of 2025(4) dt.15-07-2026 3/3 petitioners to file a fresh representation/ complaint before the respondent No. 02 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the petitioners shall be given an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks thereof. Any orders passed shall be communicated to the party.
8. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
