A counter affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondent nos.2 to 4 and in para-5 of the said counter affidavit it is stated that the notice for regular appointment on the post of Assistant Professor dated 21.09.2020 at serial 14 contains a heading which states 'Note'. The clause 14.1 categorically states that "Before filling online application candidates must go through the given guidelines carefully and while filling online application, the candidate must enter all information correctly, clearly and flawlessly. Commission will not be responsible for the candidate not following guidelines word by word for filling the online application form and for any error in the entry made

Any representation for correction/modification in this context will not be entertained by the Commission." That further clause 14.2 states that "If any discrepancy is found while comparing the information entered in the online application form with the original certificates/marksheets/degrees, his/her candidature will be rejected." That further serial 15 states that "Candidates should make all entries in the online application form with due care. Any change or modification subsequently will not be acceptable. Commission will never be responsible for any error in filling the application form by the candidate, and for any subsequent negative consequence too, the candidate will himself be responsible."

Considering the points taken in the counter affidavit, I find no merit in the present writ application. It is, accordingly, dismissed.
