The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Vijaipur P.S. Case No. 31 of 2001 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. There is direct allegation against petitioner of firing upon uncle of informant in the stomach, as a result of which he died during course of treatment.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected.
