2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Tilauthu P.S. Case No. 192 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of cheating the informant.
4. Mr. Ravi Shankar, learned counsel for the informant submits that the matter has been settled between the parties and the informant has got Rs. 2 lakhs. The petitioner is in jail since 19.09.2023.
5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.80862 of 2023(4) dt.05-03-2024 2/2 prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M., 1st cum- AM, Dehri on Sone, Rohtas/ concerned Court in connection with Tilauthu P.S. Case No. 192 of 2023.
7. The petitioner will also mark attendance in Rohtas Police Station on the first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) P. Kumar U T
