2. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Murliganj (Madhepura) P.S. Case No. 47 of 2023 for the offence punishable under sections 302, 120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is that of having killed his own mother with the help of his wife, Rubi Devi using 'kachiya' by slitting her neck. The informant is the brother-in-law of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the informant submits that in the year 2012, the allegation against the petitioner was of having killed his own father.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in

6. Considering the allegation that has come against the petitioner of having killed his own mother which has been supported by an eye witness as per the case diary, this Court is not inclined to extend him the privilege of bail which is accordingly, rejected.

7. However, since he is in custody since 28.07.2023, equally important is that his trial is taken to its logical conclusion. In that background, the Trial Court is directed to take immediate steps and see to it that the trial is concluded in the next one year.
