JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-06-2019 Perused the communication made by the Additional District and Sessions Judge-X, Bhojpur at Ara. This Court had directed the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months, failing which the petitioner would have the liberty to approach this Court for grant of bail. The period of six months was to be reckoned from the date of passing of the aforesaid order i.e. 28.11.2018. While making this observation, the Court had taken into account that the petitioner had remained in jail since 26.04.2016. The learned trial court has asked for a further extension of four weeks for finally concluding the trial. Though no reason has been assigned for seeking such
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48662 of 2018(4) dt.19-06-2019 2/2 extension of time, nonetheless, this Court finds that the trial court is in the process of concluding the trial and, therefore, is of the view that the time which has been requested for be allowed to the trial court.
