2. The petitioner who is the husband is in custody since 18.03.2023 in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 34/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, in a case of recent marriage, the deceased has been killed because of nonfulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely because he happens to be husband of the deceased. Learned counsel further submits that there is no specific allegation of torture or cruelty or making any demand against this petitioner.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this application for grant of bail is dismissed.
