1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.(i) For issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of writ of Mandamus, commanding and directing the respondents to safeguard the dignity and rights of the petitioner and his family who are citizens of India;

(ii) For issuance of appropriate writ/s to the respondents to register the grievances of the petitioner in the nomenclature of any case/complaint

Patna High Court CWJC No.17884 of 2024(2) dt.04-12-2024 2/2 and raise it before its counterpart in the nation of Bhutan so that an enquiry can be made and appropriate action can be taken against the erring person/official who were involved in creating obstructions in issuance of entry permit to the petitioner and his family members for entering Bhutan, despite availability of all required relevant documents.

(iii) For issuance of appropriate writ directing the respondents to set up a Diaspora in India for receipt and hearing of complaints & grievances regarding occurrence which take place in foreign nations like Bhutan, for justification of 'right to life', which includes dignity, fairness and justice."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
