The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 2184(C) of 2018 Registered for the offence under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per prosecution case, petitioner solemnized his marriage with complainant as per his free will. Later on petitioner and his family demanded Rs. 10,00,000/- (ten lakh) and a car in dowry and due to non payment they refused to keep the complainant in their house.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.74418 of 2019(4) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as nature of accusation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
