Petitioner seeks bail in Gopalpur P.S. Case No.29 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 376, 511 Indian Penal Code and Section 37-C of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 03.03.2018.

Allegation against the petitioner is that on the date of occurrence he tried to outrage modesty of mother-in-law of the informant.

Keeping in view the period spent by the petitioner in custody, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51177 of 2018 (3) dt.25-09-2018 2/2 the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Bettiah, in connection with Gopalpur P.S. Case No.29 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
