2. Learned counsel for the Informant, at the outset, submits that the F.I.R. was instituted under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. It is next submitted that the offences under which the F.I.R. was instituted are compoundable. It is further submitted that the informant will have no objection in the event if the F.I.R. being Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 473 of 2006 instituted by the informant against the petitioner is quashed as the parties have
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3553 of 2020 dt.25-09-2023 2/2 compromised and the informant also does not intend to pursue the case any further. The learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that the matter has been compromised.
3. Considering the submission made by Mr. Gautam Kumar Kejriwal, learned counsel for the informant, the F.I.R. being Muzaffarpur Town P.S. Case No. 473 of 2006 instituted under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code including the entire proceedings arising from the said F.I.R. is hereby quashed.
4. The quashing application is thus allowed.
