Mr.Bharat Bhushan ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL KUMAR PANWAR ORAL ORDER 09-02-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.P.P. on behalf of the State.

The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 427 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 326, 307, 302 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act. Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 16.03.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 65170 of 2022 with an observation to learned trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as possible.

No.85732 of 2023(3) dt.09-02-2024 2/2 In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report, dated 10.01.2024, with regard to present stage of trial has been received and the same is kept at flag 'A'. From its perusal it appears that out of 7 charge-sheeted witnesses only 2 witnesses have been examined.

Learned counsel for the informant submitted that 5 prosecution witnesses have been examined and trial is likely to be concluded in near future. Case is fixed for recording the prosecution witnesses.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within 4 months., failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
