The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No.97 of 2012 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code.

Considering that it is a case of road robbery in which name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation and the police may require his custodial interrogation, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application is rejected. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.) Sanjeet/SkSuman U T
