The petitioner seeks bail in Sigori P.S. Case No. 121/2017, instituted for the offences under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged in the written report that daughter of informant, namely, Puja Kumari was married with son of petitioner about one year ago. On 09.10.2017 at about 8 P.M. in the night, this petitioner sprinkled kerosene oil on the body of daughter of informant. Her mother-in-law lighted matches on her body due to which she sustained serious burn injury. It is alleged that Bhaisur of deceased had also accompanied with accused persons. Thereafter during course of treatment, daughter of informant succumbed to her injuries.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62627 of 2018(3) dt.22-11-2018 2/2 Post-mortem report is available in case diary, wherein doctor has found serious burn injury on the person of deceased. Cause of death has been opined due to shock as a result of burn injury.
In view of such, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
