The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in possession of the land and he has filed petition before the competent authority to consider his case for settlement of the land in his favour in view of gazette notification published on 11.11.2014 by the Revenue and Land Reforms Department.

This court in writ jurisdiction cannot direct any authority to declare the title of the petitioner on his so called

Patna High Court CWJC No.22693 of 2019(2) dt.21-11-2019 2/2 claim that he is in possession of the land but since the petitioner has filed petition before the authority for settlement of land in his favour, the respondent authority is directed to pass order on the petition of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within four months from the date of receipt of this order.
