JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-11-2019 The petitioners claim that they had purchased a piece of land in respect of which a sale deed was executed by the vendor in 1999. The sale deed, according to the petitioners, was presented for registration before the District Sub Registrar, Saharsa, but till date, the registered document has not been made available to them, though they are in possession of chircut for receiving of the sale deed. The petitioners are said to have got issued a legal notice to the District Sub Registrar, Saharsa, in the month of February, 2019, but of no avail. In the aforesaid background, the petitioners are seeking a direction to the District Sub Registrar to issue certified copy of the registered sale deed.

Patna High Court CWJC No.23596 of 2019(2) dt.29-11-2019 2/2 The petitioners shall have to approach the Public Grievance Redresal Officer first under the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, if they have any grievance of the nature as noted above. Why the petitioners have waited for all these 20 years, after they had presented the documents for registration, is not clear from the pleadings in the writ application.

The petitioners shall be, however, at liberty to approach the Public Grievance Redressal Officer for the relief which they are seeking in the present writ application. This application is accordingly disposed of.
